I have this picture of my grandma Helen Marie. I loved her and she loved me. I wonder what she was like at 16, as she is in this picture. The inscription on the back reads, "Do I look any different?" I bet she's in heaven with Grandpa Donald McClenon ( d. 1992). She passed away a few days after my father's birthday in March of 2005. I think of her and the life she lived, and wish I could talk with her like I did when I was younger.

Hi Dawn, I _just_ saw your email linking me to your BLOG, wow, you are so much fun! I love the pic of your gramdma. I have pics of my great grandma when she was 18. Howz come _nobody_ looks like a teenager in those old photos? They all look so much more mature and therefore older than that. Looking forward to seeing you later today. Sorry to hear that Dottie is probably dead. Life is kinda harsh out in Red Rock country, I guess. Hey, one last thing: tell Karl you are stellar!
